Iroquois Point Elementary’s Storybook Character Parade

Aloha Parents, Guardians and IPES Ohana!

Get your creative juices flowing! Please help your child create a simple, homemade costume that fits our theme of “Storybook Character” as your child marches with his/her classroom in our Storybook Parade.

We encourage you and your child to:

  • Use recycled items that you already have at home.

  • Bring a copy of the book on the day of the parade.

  • Avoid horror-related and/or inappropriate characters.

Parent, grandparents, siblings are welcomed to watch the parade. Bring your blanket or chairs and sit out in the back field as the students march in front of the stage. Please be seated by 12:15pm. We ask that you do not go to their classrooms before the parade unless you are a designated volunteer. School ends at 1:10pm.

We are looking forward to seeing the great costumes. Thank you for being part of our school community and for helping to make your child’s school experience a positive one!
