Kindergarten Entry Requirements
Children entering School Year 2020 - 2021 must be 5 years old on or before July 31 to be registered. Kindergarten is mandatory in the State of Hawaii. Any child who meets the age eligibility requirements for kindergarten may enroll in school anytime.

Ohana Help Desk
The ‘Ohana Help Desk is a statewide initiative by the Hawai‘i State Department of Education (HIDOE) to provide technical support to public school students and their parents as they transition to more opportunities for online and blended learning.
Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program
The National School Lunch Program is a federally assisted meal program in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. The program is administered locally by the Department's School Food Services Branch.
