Hello students, parents, faculty, and staff,

While we are already near our holiday break for school year 2015-2016, just think about the progress we have made with our PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) program. This program is designed to increase the safety, learning and our overall school climate. We now have clear definitions of expected appropriate, positive behaviors for students and staff through our Matrix. We regularly model, practice, reinforce and promote desired positive social behavior. We are encouraging our staff and students to develop a positive school climate through our smile challenge, 5 to 1 ratio for positive to negative statements for all throughout the day. We continue building solid relationships to strengthen our Ohana. Not to mention continued training and learning of positive interventions to improve the quality of our great school. Yes, it is time to celebrate and keep moving forward together and we can.
